Tim Cockerill, J.P., F.S.A. Scot. is a retired Solicitor living near Cambridge. In the 1960s he met his friend and mentor the late C.Roy Hudleston F.S.A who encouraged his lifelong interest in Cumbrian genealogy and heraldry. Tim is an Honorary Life member of the CWAAS, a Founder-Member (No.4) of the Cumbria Family History Society and of the Romney Society and has contributed papers and articles to their publications for many years.
