Barry McKay

A Cumbrian by birth, Barry McKay, is a semi-retired antiquarian bookseller and independent scholar of book trades history with a particular interest in the book trades of the county. An associate fellow of the Centre for Printing History and Culture at Birmingham universities he is presently writing a history of the shepherds’ guides of the northern counties and compiling a bibliography of chapbooks with Cumbrian imprints.
