Writer: Angus Winchester
Angus Winchester, who was brought up in Cockermouth and is half Cumbrian by ancestry, is Emeritus Professor of History at Lancaster University. He has written widely on the history of Cumbria and was involved in the early discussions out of which the Cumbrian Lives project evolved.
